Admin Support Specialist (full-time)​

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Admin Support Specialist Professional-level Administrative Support incumbents at this level are accountable for a variety of support service functions such as personnel support, general accounting, maintenance of files and records, and approval of requisitions for payment of operating expenses. Assists administrative support supervisors in the administration of agency programs and operations in the coordination of communications internally and externally, and in representing the agency to the public. The employee performs work exercising a high degree of confidentiality essential in the execution of assigned duties. The work involves frequent contact with various public and private groups and officials for the purpose of exchanging non-routine information as well as for interpreting rules and regulations. Independent decision-making is exercised in all facets of this work, including the dissemination of confidential information. At this level, employees provide executive administrative support to an agency head. Positions assigned to this classification are non-state service and serve at the will and pleasure of the Executive Director. This position attends meetings and transcribes the minutes of the meetings. This position works the switchboard (phone system) and covers the front desk as needed.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS​: 
Requires a bachelor’s degree, or High School Diploma and 4-6 years of experience as an Admin Assistant.
Requires a Driver’s License and Proof of Auto Insurance.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm, weekends and holidays off.

SALARY: $33,600.00

Security Officer III 

POSITION SUMMARY:  This is advanced level security work for patrolling and protecting public property and equipment against loss or damage from theft, fire, vandalism, or other causes, and maintaining order in a state facility. Employees at this level function as a lead worker and/or shift supervisor, use knowledge to make decisions, and mentor lower level employees.

No weapon required -- works alone and/or with another security officer engaged in the protection of the property, personnel, and patients. Periodically checks the grounds throughout the shift. Observes activity via cameras as well as in person. Offers support on patient units. Serves as a back up for other role(s). Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED​:  Typically requires a High School diploma and 2-4 years of relevant experience.

WORK SCHEDULE: B Shift (3:00 P.M. to 11:30 P.M.) and Rotating Weekends

SALARY: $26,185.60

Security Officer (Part-Time)

POSITION SUMMARY: No weapon required -- works alone and/or with another security officer engaged in the protection of the property, personnel, and patients. Periodically checks the grounds throughout the shift. Observes activity via cameras as well as in person. Offers support on patient units. Serves as a backup for other role(s). Other duties as assigned

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED​: High School Diploma, Valid Driver’s License, Proof of Auto Insurance, and 2 to 4 years of relevant security experience.

WORK SCHEDULE: Will need to be available for all three shifts: A shift (7:00am to 3:30pm), B shift (3:00pm – 11:30pm), and C shift (11:00pm – 7:30am), but primarily would help cover A and B shift.  Would require working on weekends and holidays.

SALARY: $16.50 per hour

Registered Nurse (full-time)​

POSITION SUMMARY:  Provides quality care and treatment to adults diagnosed with mental illness, in an acute-care setting. Implements the nursing process in an organized, systematic manner to include assessment planning, intervention, and evaluation. Actively participates in treatment planning.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED​:  Current Mississippi (or Compact) RN License is required. Experience is not required.

WORK SCHEDULE:  Includes weekends and holidays (please see shift times below.)

A Shift ( 7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M
B Shift (3:00 P.M. to 11:30 P.M.)
C Shift (11:00 P.M. to 7:30 A.M.)

SALARY: 55,741.31-78,037.83
We pay additional TDL (Type Duty Location) to all RN's and offer a differential for B and C shift for RNs
