SMSH primarily admits from the following regions: Region 12Jefferson Davis, Covington, Jones, Wayne, Marion, Lamar, Forrest, Perry, Greene, Pearl River, Stone, Hancock, and Harrison counties. Region 14George and Jackson counties Although these are the areas designated as the SMSH catchment area, the hospital occasionally takes admissions from other counties if there is no one on the SMSH waiting list. |
