Custodian/Housekeeper (full time)

POSITION SUMMARY:  Vocational-level Custodian accountable for cleaning office areas or resident areas. Works under general direction and follows set instructions and directions. Works as part of a cleaning crew. Operates a variety of power cleaning equipment. Responsible for maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools and notifying supervisor of resupply needs. May perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED​: Typically requires a High School Diploma or high school equivalency and 0-1 year of work experience.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday 7am to 4pm and rotating weekends and holidays.

Medical Records (Admin Support Assistant II) (full-time)​

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Medical Records (Admin Support Assistant II) provides support for program/agency activities and operations. These may include data entry, document and records management, as well as performs a variety of clerical, printing, and mail related tasks in support of the Medical Records Department. Employees at this level are required to be familiar with the knowledge of the procedures and processes applicable to the performance of work. This job's main role will be to work in Medical Records dealing with patient's files, Medicare, working with court system, as well as working the switchboard. This position requires a lot of attention to detail.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS​: High School Diploma (or GED) plus 1-3 years of experience as an Admin Assistant Prefer experience in Medical Records.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Admin Support Specialist (Human Resources Assistant) (full-time)​

POSITION DESCRIPTION:  Professional-level Administrative Support incumbents at this level are accountable for a variety of support service functions such as personnel support; general accounting; maintenance of files and records; and approval of requisitions for payment of operating expenses. Assists administrative support supervisors in the administration of agency programs and operations in the coordination of communications internally and externally, and in representing the agency to the public. The employee performs work exercising a high degree of confidentiality essential in the execution of assigned duties. The work involves frequent contact with various public and private groups and officials for the purpose of exchanging non-routine information as well as for interpreting rules and regulations. Independent decision-making is exercised in all facets of this work, including the dissemination of confidential information. At this level, employees provide executive administrative support to the Hospital Director and the Human Resources Director. Positions assigned to this classification are non-state service and serve at the will and pleasure of the Executive Director. * This position is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm. * This position is the assistant to the Human Resources Director. * This position will be responsible for attending multiple meetings and transcribing the meeting minutes to distribute. * This position is responsible for working the front receptionist desk / switchboard on a rotating basis. * This position is responsible for completing all pre-employment appointments including ensuring all paperwork is completed. * This position will complete any other duties assigned by the HR Director or Hospital Director. * This position is Monday through Friday from 8am to 5pm.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS​: Requires a Bachelor's Degree; or High School Diploma and 4 to 6 years of experience as an Admin Assistant. We prefer someone with Human Resource knowledge/experience.

WORK SCHEDULE: Monday - Friday, 8:00 A.M. - 5:00 P.M.

Law Enforcement Officer III 

POSITION SUMMARY: This is advanced level security work for patrolling and protecting public property and equipment against loss or damage from theft, fire, vandalism, or other causes, and maintaining order in a state facility. Employees at this level function as a lead worker and/or shift supervisor, use knowledge to make decisions, and mentor lower level employees.

No weapon required -- works alone and/or with another security officer engaged in the protection of the property, personnel, and patients. Periodically checks the grounds throughout the shift. Observes activity via cameras as well as in person. Offers support on patient units. Serves as a back up for other role(s). Other duties as assigned.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED​:  Requires a State of Mississippi Law Enforcement Professional Certification, 2-4 years of experience in law enforcement, Valid Driver’s License, and Proof of Auto Insurance Coverage.

WORK SCHEDULE:  Rotating Weekends
A-shift (7:00am to 3:30pm)

Registered Nurse (full-time)​

POSITION SUMMARY:  Provides quality care and treatment to adults diagnosed with mental illness, in an acute-care setting. Implements the nursing process in an organized, systematic manner to include assessment planning, intervention, and evaluation. Actively participates in treatment planning.

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED​:  Current Mississippi (or Compact) RN License is required. Experience is not required.

WORK SCHEDULE:  Includes weekends and holidays (please see shift times below.)

B Shift (3 PM - 11:30 PM)
C Shift (11:00 PM - 7:30 PM)
