Clinical Unit Secretary (Admin Support Assistant III)
POSITION SUMMARY: Third-level in vocational Administrative Support work. This position performs a variety of clerical, printing, and mail related tasks in support of a work unit. Employees at this level are required to have a knowledge of the procedures and processes applicable to the performance of the work and to organize their work on a daily or weekly basis by exercising independence and judgment that is greater than lower-level positions. May provide work direction to lower-level positions. • Maintaining and updating the patient’s report sheet and printing reports for the oncoming shift. • Printing MARs daily. • Wipe down the nurse’s station at the beginning of each shift. • Answering phones and running the patient’s phone time. • Checking to keep the patient’s labs accurate on the report sheet and completing the order for upcoming labs through LabCorp Beacon. • Ordering and maintaining unit supplies/nourishments, managing inventory, and keeping the nursing station organized. (Including the exam, lab rooms, and patient snacks) • Filing paperwork. • Helping to get the documents copied for the patient’s medical emergencies, as well as calling the ambulance. • Notifying the front desk of codes needing to be called. • Keeping staff informed of patient status, test results, and other relevant information. • Updating the VII Books monthly. • Update the patient’s visitation book weekly. • Provide water for the patients. • Help to keep the patient’s donation closet clean and provide clothing when needed. • Updating the patient’s report board. • Prepare patient list for the weekly treatment team meetings for each Provider. • Be the person placed at the desk constantly for litigating ligature risk. • Performing other administrative tasks as needed to support the unit. • Communicate with the rec therapy department when supplies are running low. • Complete Spiceworks when needed for IT and Maintenance • Make packets and print forms • Stuff charts • Document v/s and file v/s sheets in v/s book • Pull end-of-month forms • Notify the nurse and call the Provider with critical lab results from LabCorp • Getting the haircut list together on Fridays and checking the previous list to be sure the patient is eligible. • Fax orders • Thin charts • Help remind staff if any documentation is delinquent.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: 2 to 4 years of relevant experience
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday from 8:00am to 5:00pm

Custodian
POSITION SUMMARY: Vocational-level Custodian accountable for cleaning office areas or resident areas. Works under general direction and follows set instructions and directions. Works as part of a cleaning crew. Operates a variety of power cleaning equipment. Responsible for maintaining an inventory of supplies and tools and notifying supervisor of resupply needs. May perform routine maintenance on cleaning equipment.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: Requires a High School Diploma or Valid GED, Valid Driver’s License, Proof of Auto Insurance, and 0-1 year of work experience.
WORK SCHEDULE: Monday through Friday from 7:00am to 4:00pm, with alternating weekends and holidays.

Support Care Professional (full-time)
POSITION SUMMARY: Responsible for working with adults diagnosed with a mental illness. May lead or monitor patient education groups. Document patient activity throughout the day. Provide full-body care when needed. Take vital signs. Observe and assist with recreation therapy. Constantly monitor patient activity. Other duties as assigned.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: High School Diploma (or GED) required. 0-3 years of experience preferred.

B Shift (3:00 P.M. to 11:30 P.M.

Registered Nurse (full-time)
POSITION SUMMARY: Provides quality care and treatment to adults diagnosed with mental illness, in an acute-care setting. Implements the nursing process in an organized, systematic manner to include assessment planning, intervention, and evaluation. Actively participates in treatment planning.
EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION REQUIRED: Current Mississippi (or Compact) RN License is required. Experience is not required.

A Shift (7:00 A.M. to 3:30 P.M.)
B Shift (3:00 P.M. to 11:30 P.M.)
C Shift (11:00 P.M. to 7:30 A.M.)
