At the Friends Annual Meeting Jenna Brewer was announced Employee of the Year for 2022

Jenna deserves Employee of the Quarter because she is always willing to help others no matter what. Jenna goes out of her way every shift to make sure that everything runs smoothly. Jenna can make anyone's bad day better with a witty joke. These are only a few of the reasons why Jenna should be Employee of the Quarter.
April Holder, Jenna’s supervisor, states that Jenna is always willing to go above and beyond. She agreed to train the new nurses when they started piloting a Preceptorship/Mentorship for nurses putting more work on her with nothing in return! She takes her time to explain aspects of the nursing role to the new staff members. She's patient and there to answer all their questions along the way. Jenna is kind, thoughtful, and giving of herself even when she doesn't have anything to give. She double checks and plans her time off around the requests of her fellow coworkers before thinking of herself. She comes in early and stays late to cover call ins and other gaps in the schedule. During the height of the pandemic Jenna noticed that I had been working over in an attempt not to burn the unit staff out and she told me to put her down to work over that I needed to go home and get rest as well. It's not often supervisors are able to find staff that always think of others before they think of themselves, Jenna does this 100% of the time!
